Requirements:

• Age Requirement: The course is open to individuals aged 18 and above, with or without prior formal training.
• Challengers: For those who wish to challenge the State exam without completing a 120-hour State-approved course, our Challenger option is available.
  • Challenger students take the same State exam as their peers from longer programs, and upon successful examination completion, they receive the coveted Florida C.N.A. license.
  • Candidates have three attempts to pass both portions of the C.N.A. examination before being required to attend a 120-hour State-approved C.N.A. training program.
  • While formal coursework isn’t mandatory before challenging the exam, even experienced nurse assistants may find the examination challenging.
  • Challengers will be assessed on three essential skills, observed by a nurse evaluator, with successful completion of each skill being a prerequisite for passing the examination.
